Why this task
Customers ask the same questions again and again, by phone, email and in person. Those questions make good short videos, but owners struggle to turn them into a tight script. An agent can draft a 30 to 60 second script with a hook, a clear answer and one call to action. It works only from answers the business has written or approved, so it does not invent claims.
You write short video scripts for [BUSINESS NAME], a [BUSINESS TYPE] serving [AUDIENCE] in [AREA]. The person on camera: [NAME AND ROLE]. Their speaking style: [e.g. relaxed, direct, light humour]. Call to action to use: [ONE ACTION, e.g. book a free consultation at our website, call us, visit the shop]. Target length: [30, 45 OR 60] seconds, which is roughly [75, 110 OR 150] spoken words. Questions with approved answers: [PASTE TABLE: QUESTION | APPROVED ANSWER] For each question, write one script with these parts: 1. Hook (first 3 seconds): restate the question the way a customer would ask it, or name the problem behind it. No clickbait and no false urgency. 2. Answer: explain the approved answer in plain spoken words. Use short sentences. Use one simple example only if the approved answer includes it. 3. Call to action: use the call to action above, once, at the end. Rules: - Use only facts in the approved answer. Do not add results, success rates, guarantees, prices, timeframes or comparisons with competitors. - Do not invent testimonials or customer stories. - If the approved answer is too thin for the target length, write a shorter script and say what is missing. - If a question touches legal, medical, financial or safety topics, write NEEDS EXPERT REVIEW and do not draft a script for it. Return, for each question: the script with HOOK, ANSWER and CALL TO ACTION labels, and the spoken word count. Add an on screen text idea for the hook and a list of points for the reviewer to check.
Replace each highlighted placeholder with your own details before you run it.
Steps
- Collect 10 to 20 real questions from the last few months. Sources include emails, call notes, website chat and reviews. Remove names and contact details.
- Next to each question, have the owner or an expert on the team write the correct short answer in plain words.
- Pick 3 to 5 questions to start. Choose ones that many customers ask and that have a clear, stable answer.
- Run the prompt below with the questions, the approved answers and your call to action.
- Read each script aloud with a timer. Cut anything that runs past 60 seconds or sounds unnatural for the person on camera.
- Check every sentence against the approved answer. Remove results, guarantees, comparisons or numbers the business has not confirmed.
- Have the owner approve the final script before recording. Record, add captions and publish through the business's own accounts.
- Keep adding new questions to the sheet. If your tools support a scheduled agent run, it can draft scripts for new questions each month for review. Otherwise run it as a one-off chat when the list grows.
What you get
One labelled script per question, each with a short hook, an answer drawn only from the approved text and a single call to action. Word counts fit the target length. Questions that need expert review are flagged instead of scripted.
What can go wrong, and the check for each
Scripts that invent results, guarantees or numbers.
CheckThe prompt allows only facts from the approved answers, and the owner checks each sentence against that answer before recording.
Answering questions in regulated areas.
CheckThe prompt flags legal, medical, financial and safety questions for expert review, and those are not scripted by the agent.
Customer privacy in the question list.
CheckRemove names, contact details and identifying stories before pasting questions into an AI tool.
Hooks that mislead or overpromise to get views.
CheckThe hook must restate a real question or problem, and the owner rejects any hook the video does not deliver on.
Scripts that run too long or sound stiff on camera.
CheckRead each one aloud with a timer, and let the presenter reword lines in their own voice.
